We Are Now Authorized For Bombardier Global Maintenance
As Redstar Aviation, we have successfully completed a critical milestone in line with our strategy of sustainable operational growth and technical infrastructure development. Following comprehensive audits and infrastructure investments, our Turkish DGCA-approved SHT-145 Maintenance Organization capabilities have been officially expanded to include the Bombardier BD-700 (RRD BR700-710) aircraft family. This capability enhancement is a concrete reflection of our strategy to become one of the leading business jet maintenance organizations in the region.
New Competencies Under SHT-145
Our expanded maintenance authorizations were achieved through the coordinated completion of our technical teams’ qualification processes, the procurement of specialized tooling, and hangar infrastructure upgrades. Currently, we have reached the capacity to execute full-scale Base and Line maintenance operations for the following aircraft at both our Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) and Atatürk Airport (AHL) hangar facilities:
• Bombardier Global Express
• Bombardier Global 6000
• Bombardier Global 5000
• Bombardier Global 5000 GVFD
Going beyond standard maintenance procedures, this authorization enables us to carry out selected exterior painting and interior refurbishment operations at our own facilities and using our own resources, within the scope of our SHT-145 approved maintenance organization capabilities.
The reliability of our expanding maintenance capacity in the international market was proven by the first operation carried out immediately after the authorization process. A customer aircraft belonging to the Bombardier Global series was routed directly to our Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) hangar straight from its factory delivery route in Canada.
Once this factory-fresh aircraft was inducted into our facility, the following operational steps were completed with a zero-error principle:
1. Comprehensive maintenance support and system checks.
2. Execution of international registration change procedures.
3. Specific minor exterior painting works in line with customer requirements.
Regional Targets and Future Vision
This first maintenance operation, extending directly from Canada to Türkiye, is not just an indicator of success for our technical organization; it is a tangible indication of the confidence placed in Redstar Aviation’s infrastructure and service quality.
Drawing strength from a vision shaped by continuous training, investment in equipment, and our experienced workforce, we provide safe, auditable, and high-standard maintenance solutions to operators worldwide. As Redstar Aviation, we remain steadfast in our pursuit of becoming one of the region's leading business jet maintenance organizations.
